Swapadilly Learning – Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 1, 2025

Welcome to Swapadilly Learning ("Swapadilly," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms”) govern your use of the Swapadilly platform and services, including tutoring sessions, group classes, subscription learning plans, and self-paced courses.

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

Only adults (18+) may register for an account.
Parents or legal guardians must create and manage accounts on behalf of minors. Minors may only use the platform under the supervision of their parent or guardian.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure.

2. Platform Overview

Swapadilly provides access to:

1-on-1 live tutoring sessions (one-off or through learning plans)
Group classes (single or recurring)
Self-paced online courses

All interactions between tutors and learners must take place on the Swapadilly platform, including video sessions and chat communication.

3. Pricing & Payments

All session fees and course prices are set by Swapadilly and are non-negotiable.
Tutors do not set their own rates.
Payments are securely processed via Stripe.
All prices are listed in USD.

4. Cancellations, Credits & Refunds

You may cancel or reschedule a session at least 12 hours in advance to retain your session credit.
Cancellations within 12 hours or no-shows forfeit the session credit.
No refunds are offered, as we provide trial/demo classes to help you make informed decisions.
Whether or not a tutor will reschedule a session after the 12-hour deadline is entirely at the tutor's discretion. Students must communicate directly with the tutor for any accommodations.

5. Session & Communication Policy

All tutor-student communication must occur within the platform’s chat system or scheduled video sessions.
Off-platform contact is strictly prohibited. Attempting to engage a tutor or student outside the platform ("poaching") will result in immediate termination of your account.
Swapadilly is not responsible for any interactions or activities that occur outside of the platform.

Student Conduct During Sessions

Students must attend sessions on time. Tutors are not obligated to extend the session time due to student lateness. If a student arrives 15 minutes late, the session still ends at the scheduled time.
Students should ensure they have a working microphone. Cameras are optional but encouraged.
When cameras are in use, students must be dressed appropriately. Provocative or unprofessional attire is not permitted.

6. Self-Paced Courses

When you enroll in a self-paced course, you receive lifetime access for the duration of the Swapadilly platform’s operation.
Access includes downloadable materials, quizzes, and certificates (where applicable).
